Colorado River Delta Restoration

In 2010 Pronatura Noroeste joined Alexandra Cousteau and Blue Legacy to document the environmental and social impacts resulting from the Colorado River water management. As a result of the Expedition Blue Planet North America’s extensive travels, which culminated in the Colorado River Delta, Alexandra Cousteau and her team produced the documentary Death of a River that can be seen on: http://www.alexandracousteau.org/field/ expedition-films/death-river-colorado-river-delta

This collaboration that began in 2010 will continue with the campaign Run to the Sea, where Pronatura Noroeste, Blue Legacy, National Geographic, Sonoran Institute and Environmental Defense will join efforts to secure water rights for environmental use that will help the restoration of the Colorado River delta.
