Architects Fátima Córdova Borbón and Manuel Lizárraga Sandoval of Hant Arquitectos were awarded at the V Regional Architecture Biennial of the State of Sonora for the design of the Visitors and Nature Interpretation Center (CAV) at Cabo Pulmo National Park in Baja California Sur.
This project won the silver medal and was recognized as a leader in the Cultural category.
The CAV is a space that promotes appreciation of the area’s natural attributes and highlights the importance of conserving and using resources sustainably.
Due to its rural economic development with low ecological impact, Cabo Pulmo is one of the country’s most important diving and sustainable tourism destinations. Every year around 10,000 divers visit this National Park, which is home to the only coral reef system in the Gulf of California.
We invite you to visit the Center’s museum exhibition daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
