The San Quintín Bay, located 200 km southern Ensenada’s City, has a coastal lagoon of great relevance for migratory birds, especially for the Brant Goose (Branta bernicla).

With the Pronatura Noroeste’s Bird Conservation Program we carried out the management of the bay’s designation as a Wetlands of International Importance through the Ramsar Convention and we achieved important scientific research on wetlands birds population monitoring.

Today we take part on Coalición para la Protección de San Quintín, a nonprofit organization that seeks to protect San Quintín’s region.
